The Disc-Connected K9s are proud to be returning to Lawrence's home town area!!
We will be performing at the FIDO FESTIVAL USA®, 2011 on October 22 & 23, 2011 at the Salem County Fairgrounds in Woodstown, NJ. This is one of the largest and coolest Dog Festivals in the Country.
The Fido's Festival USA® mission is to celebrate and acknowledge ALL dogs in a fun, east coast, family weekend festival to bring awareness of the importance dogs play in every day family life, the joy and companionship they bring to the elderly, the significant role they play in disability patients’ recovery and survival, and their law enforcement role in society.
The Festival provides activities, informative expert speaker sessions on current and pertinent health and wellness topics, demonstrations and training tips, rescues and shelters with dogs for adoption, and promote responsible pet ownership in a fun and entertaining atmosphere. Participants have attended from as far as north as Rhode Island and as far south as Florida and as far west as California and Washington State. Each year we add more activities and events to the festival attracting more and more dog lovers and their faithful canine friends.
In 2010, their third year, approximately 4,200 attended the festival.
