This 35-year old Spartanburg tradition offers something for everyone. Festival goers can look forward to a professional bicycle race, lots of great shopping in the arts and crafts marketplace, savory food, tons of family-friendly activities, classic cars, an extensive lineup of great entertainment, and a whole lot in between.

And returning to Spring Fling for their 4th time, the Disc-Connected K9s – World Famous Frisbee Dogs! They will be doing shows all three days, on the grass at Morgan Square. Their shedule is as follows:

Friday: 6:30 PM Saturday: 12:00, 2:00, 4:00 & 6:00 PM Sunday: 1:30, 3:30 & 5:30 PM

PLEASE PLAN ON ARRIVING A LITTLE EARLY FOR EACH SHOW. THE SHOWS ARE ALWAYS PACKED FULL AND SEATING IS LIMITED.

More than 225 companies occupying 450 booth spaces make the show the largest of its kind in Central Illinois. It features everything for the home … inside and out … all under one roof!

Exhibitors display a wide range of interior, exterior, home building and home remodeling products and services. This is the largest gathering of area home builders and remodeling contractors you’ll find! On top of all of that, you will get to see the World Famous Frisbee Dogs, featuring Harley Davidson (2 time AWI World Disc Dog Champion) and Flash (2010 Skyhoundz World Disc Dog Champion) and 8 other World Finals Dogs doing shows daily.

All of our shows are family oriented; carry a message of fun, athleticism, canine bonding, and promote dog rescuing. Our routines are choreographed to music, defy the normal relationship between man and canine; and leave even the oldest of children with a smile on their face and in their heart. And to make it even more interesting; all of the dogs are “rescue” dogs, meaning they have come from either abandoned, homeless, sheltered, humane society, etc. backgrounds. Their individual stories are almost as interesting as their performances. We promise you will be laughing and clapping in awe at the tricks these dogs perform. For the 15th year in a row; the Disc-Connected K9′s are proud to announce that we will be performing (Sat. 11:00, 1:00 & 3:00 – Sun 11:30, 1:30& 3:30) January 26 & 27, 2013, at the 28th Annual Blue Spring’s Manatee Festival in Orange City, FL (http://www.themanateefestival.com).

This festival is one that we love to do each year; not just because it is a lot of fun and the people pack this festival; but because it is held to raise funds that are contributed to the saving of the Manatees in the state of Florida. Typically there are in excess of 100 manatees each day in the springs for you to watch and take pictures of these amazing creatures.

There are also in excess of 100 craft vendors, children’s activities, musical entertainers, wildlife creatures (tigers and bears and lions,etc) food vendors, dance troupe performances, etc.. Dogs as spectators are allowed, though there is an admission for each dog.

Bark In The Park, your dog’s day at Riverside Park, is the perfect outing for you, your family, and your dogs. This fund-raising benefit for the Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County promises to be a four-hour fun fest that you and your “best friends” will enjoy sharing. Plus, it is a great way to show your support for the work of this important humane organization.

While the event is free, all the funds collected help us care for 7,000 homeless pets in Indian River County every year. Support from Bark in the Park “Packs” Teams makes a huge difference, which is why we hope you will form a Pack to raise pledges in honor of your pets and join us for all the fun on event day.
